For those already in full-time employment, the part-time computing and multimedia courses offer a viable opportunity to combine work and study. Options include the highly valued professional qualification or our short 10 week courses that will enhance you’re knowledge and skills. Graduates of our Level 7 and 8 degree programmes will have excellent opportunities to progress to a Level 8 Honours Degree or Masters in their chosen field.
With many Multinational IT companies basing their European headquarters in Ireland, there are many opportunities for those who have developed a skills set through qualifications that can be measured by employers. The Computing and Multimedia programmes will provide great job opportunities. Healthcare and Nursing Studies courses are structured to provide a foundation in the theory and practice of Health Science for Graduates who intend to enter the Nursing Profession – Social Care, General Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, Intellectual Disability Nursing and Children’s Nursing.
A career with opportunities to work as part of a team to deliver care for patients in a variety of settings, such as hospitals, nursing homes, day care centers, home care support or a community environment and progress academically. The work experience module will provide you with the opportunity to gain valuable practical skills working with specialised teams to deliver a professional service to patients in their care.
Early Childhood Education Studies is aimed at producing professionally qualified graduates who can work in a range of early years’ contexts, working with children from 0 to 6 years in both care and education settings. A career working with and for children and their families will give you an excellent foundation and a valuable qualification.
Students have the opportunity to complete supervised work-based placements. These opportunities allow students to gain valuable experience and skills in the areas of care, health, and education.
