Entry Requirements

An interest in gaining the skills on how to support children with special educational needs, within an educational environment or childcare facility.

Indicative Schedule

Start Date: 07/04/2020

End Date:  19/05/2020

Evening: Tuesday and Thursday + 1 Saturday

Duration: 50 Hours

Time: 18.30 to 21.30

** A Special rate of €895.00 applies to those who book both courses Level 5 and Level 6


On completion of this Special Needs Assisting Level 6 Course, the learner will have achieved one of eight modules which lead to a Major Award in Early Childhood Care & Education Level 6.

Progression to other Level 5/6 Awards include:

  • Applied Behavioural Analysis Level 5
  • Early Childhood Care & Education level 6 (Montessori or Supervision)
  • Child Psychology Level 6

An exam fee of €40.00 is to be paid separately, post registration.

Application Process

A deposit of €150.00 is required to secure a place on this Course. The deposit or if you wish full payment of fees can be paid online. When we have received and reviewed your application the college will be in contact with you to discuss next steps.
