Entry Requirements

  • Leaving Certificate standard or QQI/FET Level 4/5 Qualification or equivalent
  • Mature Applicants with relevant life and work experience
  • English Language Proficiency Test where deemed appropriate or an IELTS score of 5.0

 

Work Experience: 20 Hours Mandatory

Evening/s: Monday and Wednesday + 1 Saturday

Time: 18.30 to 21.45

Duration: 6 Weeks

Progression

For those who have completed the full healthcare support or nursing studies course – this palliative care support qualification will complement your qualifications and can be used as a stepping stone to:

Level 8 Bachelor of Science in General Nursing and other specialist Nursing degree courses in D.C.U. and U.C.D and 10 other regional Universities and Institutes.
