This Mobile App course introduces the learner to the basic concepts in web development and its role in mobile development.
Short summary of course
The area of mobile applications and its relevance to marketing and sales strategies is projected to continue to significantly grow as more end users progress to online platforms to undertake many day to day activities. The learner who successfully completes this progressive and innovative course should be confident to write applications for the key platforms on both desktop and the increasingly relevant mobile devices.
It is recommended by the Academic team that the learner should come to the programme with basic experience in a programming language such as Java.
This is a highly practical course with all sessions taking place in one of the college’s modern IT labs. The assessment is entirely based and will require the student to undertake and submit project-based work at various stage of the course.
