The Diploma in Event Management and Public Relations course is intentionally practically focused and importantly, it introduces learners to the key areas of the event proposal, risk management, health and safety considerations and the post-event evaluation.

The lecturer on the course presents with significant industry experience in the EM area. The learner is also introduced to the importance of PR and how correct management of same can protect an organisation from, for example, highly negative media coverage.
The assessment will be a practically based project piece, usually requiring the learner to undertake a critique of an organisation’s event management strategy.
