The area of Web Design remains one of the most requested courses students select to study in Dorset College, be it at certificate, diploma or degree level. This course is designed and targeted at the absolute beginner who wishes to develop the basic skills in the area of web design.
Short summary of course
The learner is introduced to both the relevant theories of web design and also to the technical requirements which one is required to master in order that they undertake web design projects at either a personal or a career related level.
There is no specific academic entry requirement for this course. It is an introductory level programme targeted for those looking to develop a practical understanding in the area of web design.
100% Coursework – the course is very practically focussed. The learner is required to submit up to three component projects with the final project being due for submission several weeks after the completion of the course.
