This Digital Marketing course is designed to assist SME owners and managers involved in business development to understand the importance of being able to design and implement a digital marketing strategy.

Short summary of course
The focus of this course is on small firms as they attempt to navigate the digital transition from offline to online marketing.

The course takes the conventional marketing function and examines the challenges which present to organisations when they decide to  develop a digital marketing strategy. The course specifically looks at the importance of integrating your digital marketing strategy to your offline/traditional marketing strategies which may well be already in place.

Entry requirements
There is no specific academic entry requirement for this course although please note the content is specifically targeted at SMEs. It is an introductory level programme targeted for those looking to develop a broad understanding of the digital marketing area.

Assessment
100% Coursework –  PBL (Problem based learning) is generally the selected form of assessment for this particular course. Learners are placed into teams and are presented with a real-life problem based business scenario. From here, they are required to identify and present the potential solutions which a digital marketing focus may deliver. There is no examination in this course.
