The Certificate in Human Resource Practice is ideal for:

The CIPD-Certificate in HR Practice (CHRP) will provide the skills, knowledge and competence required to work as a professional in this field. It provides a firm foundation in all areas of HR, helping you to develop essential HR skills and giving you the confidence to be more effective at work by adding real value to your HR function.
The remaining units (18 credits) can be selected from a range of professional areas, such as employment relations, resourcing, talent, supporting change, performance, mentoring, and reward. This will allow you to build a practical qualification that suits your specific professional needs.
The CIPD-Certificate in Human Resource Practice will entail two written reports and two skills based assessments along with the work-based project. All of these must be completed satisfactorily in order to attain certification and associated membership of the CIPD.
The CHRP programme will be completed over a total of 140 classroom led training hours and learners are expected to complete a minimum of 140 hours self directed learning. Unit total of 28 credits.
On successful completion of all assessments learners will be awarded the CIPD-Certificate in Human Resource Practice (CHRP) and may apply for Associate membership of the CIPD.
Associate is the first level of professional membership. Associate members are entitled to use the designation Assoc CIPD after their name to showcase their professional credentials. Associate members build their practical and technical HR knowledge to understand the breadth of HR, and its contribution to organisational performance. They carefully plan their own continuing professional development (CPD) by reflecting on their own performance and taking part in both formal and informal development to enhance their own professional skills and knowledge.
