Under the new Common Points Scale for Leaving Certificate 2017 applicants must obtain a minimum of Grade D3 in five ordinary level subjects, including a language. The programmes also require a minimum of a grade D3 in ordinary level maths
Applicants who are second language speakers of English an IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent and hold International Equivalent to Leaving Certificate

For mature learners (i.e. age 23 and older), applications will be individually assessed in order to determine suitability through Dorset College’s ‘Recognition of Prior Learning’ policy

Full-time classes will be scheduled 3 days per week from 9am to 4pm.
Part-time classes will be scheduled 2 evenings per week 5.45pm to 9.45pm and four Saturday per semester from 9am to 4pm.

On successful completion of the BSc in Computing & Multimedia Level 7, Graduates who gain this award may progress to a one-year honours level 8 programme in computer science in one of the higher education providers.
