Dorset College Tutor Positions
Are you interested in a rewarding and challenging teaching career? Do you have expertise in any of our course areas? Can you impart knowledge and skills effectively to others?
If you are interested in acquiring a teaching post, you should possess a third-level qualification (or equivalent professional qualification) and a high level of professional expertise in the relevant field. A teaching qualification is desirable. Membership of a Professional Body e.g. CIPD or PMI may be a requirement.
We are particularly interested in people with the following qualities:
- Previous relevant teaching experience at third level
- Interest in the design & development of syllabi
- Creative and innovative approach to teaching and learning methodology
- Relevant industry experience
- Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Familiarity with leading edge developments in your field
- The ability to effectively teach classes of all sizes with the enthusiasm to stimulate and encourage students
