MCITP: Microsoft Certified IT Professional - Server Administrator (Formerly MCSA)

The Microsoft Certified IT Professional: Server Administrator (MCITP: Server Administrator) credential is one of the leading certifications for Windows Server 2008, providing a widely recognised, objective validation of your ability to perform critical, current IT job roles by using Microsoft technologies to their best advantage.

The MCITP certification

Pre-requisites

The entry requirements for the MCITP Microsoft Certified IT Professional – Server Administrator  is that MCTIP candidates should have successfully completed the CompTIA A+ / CompTIA Network+ and/or have 6–12 months experience administering client and network operating systems.  All applicants must have competence in spoken and written English.

Course Aim

The aim of the MCITP Microsoft Certified IT Professional: Server Administrator Course is to demonstrate the skills and knowledge to successfully manage and troubleshoot system environments.

Microsoft Official Academic Curriculum Materials are used in the delivery of all courses listed above.

Assessment

Students will sit the Microsoft Certified IT Professional: Server Administrator Examinations on-line at our Prometric testing centre in Dorset College.

Awards

On successful completion of all on-line exams listed above students will achieve the Microsoft Certified IT Professional: Server Administrator (MCITP: Server Administrator) Certificate.

Students will sit the on-line examinations at Dorset College in our Prometric testing centre.

Exam Fees are not included in course fee and are: €67.00 per exam X 3 exams.

Progression to MCITP Enterprise Administrator.  MCITP: Server Administrator and MCITP: Enterprise Administrator job roles are distinct.
