CIPD-Certificate in Training Practice

The CIPD Certificate in Training Practice is an ideal course for those who require a means of professional recognition in the field of training and development.  This CIPD course is a skills-based rather than an academic programme and is a uniquely flexible, modular programme which leads to Associate membership of the CIPD upon successful completion.

She has managed significant HR projects for the organisations in which she has worked in. The industries Niamh has worked in includes Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical and Professional Services . Niamh has multi-national experience which include working on CI-Six Sigma projects across Europe and working with an EU HR Team. 
 
Niamh holds a Management Degree from DIT and holds a Diploma in Employment Law from the Law Society of Ireland. Niamh is a member of IITD and CIPD and has completed the Certificate in Personnel Practice. Niamh has completed many continuing professional development courses which add's greatly to the courses she lectures on.

Pre-requisites

The entry requirement for the CIPD Certificate in Training Practice is Leaving Certificate (or equivalent) with a pass in Mathematics and English. Mature applicants (21+) are also welcome.

The CIPD Certificate in Training Practice will develop an awareness of the context for training and development, and the key issues that impact on its planning and delivery. This CIPD Training course is the most widely recognised qualification for those seeking success and credibility in the field of training and development. The CIPD Course enables training and development professionals to develop their expertise to understand, identify, deliver and evaluate training within their organisation.

Assessment

This CIPD Certificate in Training Practice course will be assessed on the basis of two written and two skills based reports. Candidates will also have to complete a project based on their workplace or other area where the training can be applied. There will be no written examinations.

Awards

Successful candidates receive the CIPD Certificate in Training Practice and are eligible for Associate membership of the CIPD Institute. The CIPD Certificate is a stand-alone qualification.   However, completing the CIPD Certificate and/or gaining Associateship does not imply that the candidate should automatically progress to study at the Professional Development Scheme level.
